More then 2.000 carnival lovers from the entire country participated in this tropical carnival parade with their own float or music car. They walked and danced in the most beautiful costumes through the center of Rotterdam. Apart form the participating organizations the sponsors were also riding in the parade and of course Maaza was there too for the third consecutive year! With a beautiful decorated vehicle of 14m length, a spectacular Faja Rhytm Brassband consisting of 25 people and dancers and an unique Tuk Tuk Maaza faced up to the parade in a totally new Maaza style. On the float there were another 4 dancers and the QUEEN MAAZA, the winner of last years election! Maaza cowboy hats, a much loved item by the visitors of the Summer carnival, were being thrown from the vehicle.
